Directions by BART from Market Street

From either Powell St. or Montgomery St. Stations - Board either a Richmond-bound or Pittsburg/Bay Point-bound train, whichever comes first.  The Richmond-bound train will go directly to Berkeley.  If you board a Pittsburg/Bay Point-bound train, get off at the 19th Street station and transfer to the next Richmond-bound train.  Your destination is the Downtown Berkeley Station.  The main up escalator exits at the intersection of Shattuck & Center Streets in Berkeley.        ADD TRANSFER INFO

Note: The last Richmond-bound Train leaves from the Powell Station at 7:17pm. After that time, you need to take the Pittsburg/Bay Point Train and transfer to a Richmond-bound Train at 19th St. station.

 

Walking to BGC from Downtown Berkeley BART Station

Approximately 10-15 minutes

Cross Center St. and continue north on Shattuck four blocks to Hearst Ave.  Turn right on Hearst and walk east uphill to Euclid Ave.  You will need to be on the left side of the street because the sidewalk ends at the light at Le Conte.  Turn left on Euclid and go one block to Ridge Rd.  Turn left on Ridge and walk uphill to 2455.  It is on the right side of the street and there is a large sign to the right of the building entrance.

Shuttle Van from Downtown Berkeley BART Station          IS THIS ACCURATE AFTER CONSTRUCTION AT STATION?

6:00 to 7:30, about every 15 minutes

If you would like a ride to BGC, a van will be picking people up from the curb, next to where the main escalator exits on Center St., about every 15 minutes from 6:00 until 7:30. The van will be available after dinner for the return to BART. 

After the party, BART trains leave every 20 minutes until midnight.

 

Directions by CAR from San Francisco

Take the Bay Bridge east toward Oakland.  Soon after the bridge ends, the left lanes turn into I-80E to Berkeley and Sacramento.  The third exit is University Ave.  Take the exit to the right and go up University Ave. for about 3 miles until it terminates at the UC Campus at Oxford St.  Turn left onto Oxford and go two blocks to Hearst Ave.  Turn right on Hearst Ave. and go to the second light at Euclid Ave.  Turn left up Euclid two blocks to Le Conte St., turn left and another immediate left into the parking lot.
